Ranting About and Boosting All of My Favorite Book Bloggers: Part 1!

One of my favorite things to do is to boost other bloggers.

And I’ve been wanting to do this kind of thing for a while now, and I’ve seen so many amazing blog tags floating around where you promote other bloggers, but I’ve decided to wait until now (my birthday month, because I’m sappy like that) to give shoutouts to my favorite bloggers!

Getting sweet messages from people telling me they love my blog just means the world to me, and I love making others feel the same way as well. Plus, a lot of these bloggers I’ve become close friends with, and I love boosting and supporting them in anyway I can!

So without further ado, since this is going to be one of two long posts in this mini-series, here are some of my favorite book bloggers!

Disclaimer: 1) If you’re not mentioned here, I obviously still love you and you are amazing and you definitely aren’t a “bad blogger” or anything of the sort!! and 2) all the bloggers mentioned are in randomized order—as in I literally put names in an online randomizer—so there is no favoritism whatsoever (and there IS a part 2!) <33

MARIE @ DRIZZLE AND HURRICANE BOOKS

I think it’s so fitting that the randomizer put Marie first, because she’s one of the people who has been with me and supported me throughout my whole blogging journey. I genuinely think she is one of the sweetest people in this community?? She works so hard to make everyone feel loved, and the fact that she’s able to spread so much happiness while going through mental health struggles of her own is AMAZING.

Plus, she’s amazing at writing!! Her blog posts and reviews are always so eloquent, and her discussions are often times on topics I’ve wanted to discuss that she talks about better than I ever could. I love talking to her so much and she truly makes me so happy!

ELIZABETH @ REDGAL MUSINGS

Elizabeth is a blogger I think deserves SO many more followers; I love her blog so much and I think all her posts are genuinely fun to read. Her discussions and reviews are especially super well-written, and I love the tags she does as well!

And more personally, Elizabeth has always been SO so supportive of me, and whenever I talk to her I’m always left with a smile on my face and feeling soft. She has the best humor, and she’s so so caring. (Plus, her WIP ideas are amazing!!)

ILSA @ A WHISPER OF INK

Ilsa is a blogger I’ve been friends with for so long, and I love her. Even though she posts less now, I still get so excited whenever I see her blog posts, because all of them are TRULY so enjoyable to read. She’s so passionate about what she writes about, and even if she’s not, she writes her posts in a way that make YOU passionate.

Also, I get insider info on her writing and IT’S AMAZING. Her snippets? Her aesthetics? Her ideas? All of them are SO GOOD and I can’t wait to see her books sweep the world away. And besides having conversations with her about her amazing writing, she’s always so supportive of me and I LOVE talking to her.

AMY @ A COURT OF CROWNS AND QUILLS

Okay, Amy is like pretty much the only Thai blogger I know other than myself, so obviously I love her, and all of our conversations about Thai food! But also, she is so sweet, kind, and supportive, and in times I need it, she always knows exactly what to say to make me feel better.

And of course, her book reviews are amazing! There are so many reviews I’ve read of hers that I find myself nodding along to and almost astonished at, because I agree with her views so closely and she puts my thoughts into words so well.

May is my name twin (unfortunately) and I know she’ll deck me over the head for saying this but I genuinely love her so much and it’s an honor to be her friend. She’s always been there for me when I’ve needed it and is so supportive of me (EVEN THOUGH SHE’LL DENY IT).

I love her writing, her art, and her book reviews, and I got so excited when she told me she decided to start blogging again because I love her blog posts so much as well!! She’s such a positive ray of sunshine for me and so many other people, and I hate to say it, but she (and her face) are a true source of happiness for me.

Vicky is a blogger I recently started following, and I was genuinely shaken when she followed me back on Twitter, since I’d admired her from afar for so long! And in the few months I’ve been following her, I’ve seen and read a TON of eloquent discussions and amazing book reviews from her.

She advocates for so many important things, writes hilarious tweets, and is so so kind. Her passion and excitement for ANYTHING, really, is just so infectious. Also, I’m just really in love with the soft pinks of her blog aesthetic!

We’ve had the best of conversations, from her offering to be a mentor to me because I’m a dumb baby gay, to her crying about how old she is (she’s my big sis okay). And her posts and discussions and reviews are all amazing, and I just appreciate her (and her advocacy for diversity in books!) SO MUCH.

And her posts are always so enjoyable to read, and I find myself clicking on them to read as soon as I spot them in my Reader! It’s been so great to watch her blog grow, though I TRULY believe she deserves more followers. (SO FOLLOW.)

I’m so sorry to all the people who don’t know Em, because she is such a kind, hilarious person and you’re truly missing out if you’ve never talked to her! She’s one of the best people in the book community, and literally everyone adores her, for good reason.

Besides her memorable reviews and sweet personality, she also has the best humor, is super supportive, and is literally so much fun to talk to (besides her continual memory loss issues). She’s so passionate that she can pretty much convince you of anything, although if she tells you she’s not an angel in the form of a human, she’s wrong!!
