Blog Tour Review: Iron Heart by Nina Varela // Beautiful Prose and Yearning

Another day, another sapphic book!

Last year, I fell in love with the YA fantasy Crier’s War. It had everything I wanted in a book: slowburn enemies to lovers f/f, compelling characters, and absolutely stunning writing. I’m so excited to have been able to read the sequel Iron Heart and be reviewing it today! If you’re eagerly awaiting this book after having read the first one, or interested in this series (especially with their gorgeous covers), I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Thank you so much to Shealea for making it possible for me to have received an ARC of this book and be a part of this blog tour!

There are no spoilers for Iron Heart in this review, and though I tried my best to keep every reference I made to the events of Crier’s War vague, they may be viewed as spoilers, so take care!

Blog Tour Review: The Bone Shard Daughter by Andrea G Stewart // Immersive Fantasy that Unfurls Deliciously

I’m back with another Asian fantasy to push on to you!

I am so excited to be here today to talk about and review The Bone Shard Daughter, which was one of my most anticipated releases of the year. While it was not what I expected, I loved it so much and I can’t wait to see others fall in love with it too! (And I’ll say after being disappointed by several Asian fantasies this year, I am beyond happy this was quite an exception.

Thank you so much to Kate for making it possible for me to have received an ARC of this book and be a part of this blog tour!

Blog Tour: Unravel the Dusk by Elizabeth Lim (INTL Giveaway!!)

Welcome to my stop on the Unravel the Dusk blog tour!

I won’t be posting my book review today, because unfortunately I didn’t love this book as much as I wanted to. (Rest assured, though, many of the issues I had were due to personal and not objective reasons, especially being in a bit of a slump!)

But I will be sharing a few aesthetics I made, as well as some photos I took, and talking about a few themes that the book explored that I enjoyed! Everything I discuss will be spoiler-free, both about Spin the Dawn and Unravel the Dusk.

Thank you so much to Shealea and Caffeine Book Tours for making it possible for me to have received an ARC of this and to be a part of this blog tour!!

Blog Tour Review: What I Like About You by Marisa Kanter // A Cute, Cheesy Romance Set in the Book Blogging World!

It isn’t every day you get to read about book blogging in an actual book.

I’ve always wanted to read about a teen book blogger like myself, and so when Simon & Schuster reached out to me about the chance to read What I Like About You, a book with exactly that, I couldn’t help but say yes!

Though I had one slight issue with the book, it felt more of a personal than universal thing, and I still had lots of fun reading this cute romance. Told in a modern, fresh voice, Halle’s story is definitely unputdownable, and you’ll find yourself loving all the relationships she forges and needing to know what happens next!!

Blog Tour Review + Aesthetic: The Weight of Our Sky by Hanna Alkaf // A Moving Story Beautifully Told (INTL Giveaway!)

It’s well-known that I’m in love with Asian books.

I mean, I can’t seem to shut up about Asian books I’ve loved and Asian releases I’m looking forward to. The Weight of Our Sky certainly isn’t exempt from my love.

When Vicky @ Vicky Who Reads announced a blog tour for Southeast Asians for this book, I immediately signed up. A chance to read one of my most anticipated books of the year, and talk about how it related to my Southeast Asian identity? Hell yeah.

I was ecstatic to be accepted for the blog tour, and I’m so thankful that I got to read this stunning book. Hopefully by the end of my review I can convince you all to read it as well!
