I !! FINISHED !! MY !! FIRST !! WIP !! EVER !!!!
You probably can’t tell that I’m excited, but I’M EXCITED. Me?? Actually committing to something and finishing it??? NEARLY UNHEARD OF????
I’m just SO SO proud of myself for finally finishing a novel. It’s not good, definitely not. But the important thing is that I COMPLETED it and actually proved to myself that I could do it!!!

*This is a lie.

So you know that time when you just feel so DONE with everything that you want to give up??
Yeah. That’s how I feel right now about writing.
Somehow I fell pretty behind on NaNoWriMo, and I HATE IT. Because now not only do I have to write the daily 1,667 words, but I also have to write ADDITIONAL words to catch up. I’m lazy. I don’t have time for this.
But while I went through a period of “omggggg I don’t want to write anymore I hate writing why did I do this I’m not writing anymore I’m done”, I am now back to my usual bubbly self* and ready to catch up!!!
I also made some pretty hilarious typos/mistakes so just looking at those cheered me up.
Also: You can learn more/refresh your memory about my novel HERE, and you can see my first NaNo update HERE!
(And if you’re a dumb cabbage and don’t know what NaNoWriMo is: it’s a month-long
torture method challenge that takes place in November where you try to write 50K words—aka torture a novel!!)

GUESS WHO PROCRASTINATED and still won Camp early.
Me!!! Tho the winning isn’t that much of an impressive feat because… it’s only 10K. BUT SITLL. I AM PROUD.
Even tho I still haven’t finished the outline oopsssssss.
By the way this Writerly Update is a bit jumbled because… I’m feeling a bit jumbled myself. I’m paint who’s been splattered all over the canvas but resembles no image whatsoever.
(WHY ARE YOU GETTING SO DEEP MAY STOP IT.)
But really. I rambled and talked about basically nothing, and then I have a message/rant at the end so… stick with me???
(I swear WHAT IS THIS INTRO.)

*Note: This is a day late because yesterday I was so freakin’ stressed and just didn’t feel like posting. 😦
Surprise, surprise. I actually won Camp NaNo before the 30th!
This is a huge shock to me, because in November, my goal was 15,000 words as well, and I even had a week off from school to write—yet I made it to my goal on the last day. And this time, I had no week off and was even sick—but I won seven days before the 30th! *cheers*
I’m also quite dead right now (hence the subtitle) because of SCHOOL and STRESS and LIFE. But luckily one of my secretaries was working full-time and she was able to revive me.

Being sick apparently takes away your writing time, as does procrastinating and staring at a blank screen. #surprise
Okay, so I knew this. But I didn’t want to??? I wanted to assume that HAHAHA I CAN WRITE WHILE I’M SICK because that totally doesn’t require you to use your brain at all AND PROCRASTINATING = WRITING am I right or am I right.
Today’s Writerly Update includes my experiences with Camp NaNo and NaPo (so far), along with some horrible snippets and worse poems, and an update on how [bad] my magic story is going.
