Goodbye 2018: The End of Year Book Survey, ft. Favorite Books, Disappointing Reads, and Stats and Graphs!!

[screams] I LOVE WRITING THESE POSTS SO MUCH!!!

Every time it’s the end of the year I get so excited because I know I’m going to be able to write these super fun, amazing book wrap-ups. I mean, formatting all the book covers is a pain, but talking about my year??? In books???? So good.

Today I’m linking up with the amazing End of Year Book Survey by The Perpetual Page Turner and answering a bunch of questions about my 2018 in books! (Not doing all the questions, though, because this post is already SUPER long.) I’ll also be talking about some reading stats that I kept track of by myself, with the help of some graphs!!

(Shh I know it’s not the end of the year anymore but it still counts!!!)

UPDATE: This post ended up taking about 5 hours to make and I am exhausted please show this post and ME some love I feel dead.

Goodbye 2018: Seeing How Well I Did on My Goals for the Year and Making New Resolutions for 2019!!

In case you didn’t know, I love to make goals!

I make them for every month, and I won’t say how successful I am (because I am very bad at them), but they’re always really fun for me to come up with and also hold me accountable! Even when I forget about them until the end of the month!

And this time, it’s no different: I have completely forgotten all of the goals I made for 2018 until this moment, when I look back on them. Like I said, love to make them, not the best at keeping them.

Today I’m going to be reviewing my 2018 goals and making new ones for 2019, aka looking at how badly I failed all my goals for the year and pathetically trying again for the new year. Proud of me!

Goodbye 2018: Things I Accomplished (and Also Unfortunately Didn’t) This Year!

Hi, I’m May and sometimes my self-worth depends on my productivity.

I love opening up posts with lines that are way too personal!!!

Okay, but I’m like actually 100% serious about this. I know it’s bad and it’s a really destructive mindset to have but I’m working on it!!

Today, as a part of me attempting to improve, I’m writing a completely unbiased post about what I have and haven’t been able to accomplish this year. I’m not judging myself for what I couldn’t do, because I deserve to be good to myself!

(Also this is another short post?? Who am I??? Where did over-1k-word-blog-post May go??)

Goodbye 2018: My Most Favorite and Least Favorite Moments of the Year!

So, it’s the end of the year, which means…

A bunch of year-end wrap-up posts that I couldn’t be more excited about!

This is the first post in my series Goodbye 2018, and I always enjoy writing up these types of posts! They’re so much fun for me and I love reflecting over the year and it makes me nostalgic, I guess.

Today, I’ll be talking about my favorite and least favorite moments of the year. Might get a little sappy, might get a little depressed. Maybe both. Who knows.
